Welcome to APSCI: Advancing Ceramic Implantology Across the Asia Pacific
05 November 2026 · APSCI
An introduction to the Asia Pacific Society for Ceramic Implantology — our purpose, our approach to evidence-based education, and what members can expect.
The Asia Pacific Society for Ceramic Implantology (APSCI) was established to connect clinicians throughout the Asia-Pacific region who share an interest in ceramic dental implants and the continuing evolution of implant dentistry.
Ceramic implantology is developing rapidly, with advances in zirconia materials, implant design, surface technology, digital workflows and restorative options. APSCI provides an independent platform where clinicians can learn from one another, critically evaluate emerging evidence and develop practical clinical skills.
Evidence before hype
As interest in ceramic implants grows, APSCI believes education should remain grounded in scientific evidence rather than fear, marketing or unsupported claims. We encourage open discussion about both the advantages and limitations of ceramic implant systems.
